Have your say on Streatham's children's centres by 25th June

Cllr Nicole Griffiths campaigns to save children's centres
A consultation on the future of children's centres in Streatham ends on June 25th.

Lambeth's council cabinet has voted to close five children's centres and make cuts to a further seven.

In Streatham, Woodmansterne children's centres is set to be closed, and Streatham Hub and Sunnyhill both downgraded, with deep cuts to their services.

Please fill out the online consultation and tell the council NO  CUTS, NO CLOSURES. Every children's centre needs saving - and could be with an alternative budget proposal put forward by Green Party councillors.

Jonathan Bartley and Nicole Griffiths: save Streatham Hub
Our children's centres are already running on a shoestring and are hugely oversubscribed - any more cuts will have a devastating impact on local families.

It takes less than five minutes to complete the consultation online here.

Q1 "We are proposing to maintain Hitherfield as a core centre with a full programme of activities morning and afternoon."
Please select: STRONGLY AGREE

Q2 "We are proposing to maintain Streatham Hub as a link centre."
please select: STRONGLY DISAGREE

Q3 "We are revising our proposals for Sunnyhill and Woodmansterne..."
Please select: STRONGLY DISAGREE

You will have the opportunity to provide comments for each of these questions. This is the most important bit! Please write clearly that NO CUTS should be made to our children's centres annd NO children's centres should be closed.

Complete the consultation online here.
